Novitec McLaren Artura
McLaren kicks off the next sports car generation of the British make with the Artura with hybrid drive. NOVITEC now offers an exclusive refinement range for the two-seater. Carbon aerodynamic-enhancement components designed in the wind tunnel and high-tech forged wheels developed in cooperation with Vossen in concert with ride-height lowering effected by custom sports springs lend the mid-engine racer even more spectacular looks. The NOVITEC high-performance exhaust system, which is also available in a super-light INCONEL version, not only delivers an even sportier exhaust note, but also increases the power output of the twin-turbo V6 ICE by about 26 kW / 35 hp. The product range of the German specialist also includes custom interior design realized at the highest level of craftsmanship. The development of dynamic visual upgrades for the world’s most spectacular sports cars is the prime discipline of the NOVITEC designers. They developed an extensive aerodynamic-enhancement kit for the McLaren Artura, too, which was fine-tuned in the wind tunnel and is produced from naked carbon. NOVITEC gives the face of the British two-door an even sportier design with an extensive package of custom components. In addition to the naked-carbon trunk lid, it includes the strikingly styled insert for the air intake, and the headlight trim. The NOVITEC front spoiler not lends the British sports car full-blooded racing looks, Moreover, it also reduces front-axle lift thanks to its sophisticated shape. In combination with the NOVITEC rear wing it optimizes the handling stability at high speeds. A subtle lip spoiler is alternatively available for the rear end. As a replacement for the ex-factory matte black Artura rear bumper, NOVITEC offers a component made from naked carbon. It can be complemented with a diffuser and trim elements on both sides made from that same material. The carbon trim elements for the air intakes on the front fenders and for the quarter glass enhance the Artura’s sporty profile. In addition, the NOVITEC rocker panels give the two-seater a lower and sleeker visual stance.
Further aerodynamic fine-tuning is provided by the carbon covers for the air intakes in the rear quarter panels of the vehicle. They optimize the supply of fresh air to the engine. The NOVITEC MC3 wheels for the McLaren Artura offer a perfect blend of extravagant design and lightweight construction. The rims impress with seven pairs of delicate spokes and ahubcap with center-lock styling. They are produced by the American high-end wheel manufacturer Vossen using state-of-the-art forging and machining technology. As an alternative,NOVITEC offers owners of an Artura the MC4 Design with five twin spokes and a hubcap in center-lock styling. Both versions place emphasis on the wedge shape of the mid-engine sports car by selecting19- and 20-inch wheels for the front and rear axle. NOVITEC combines the wheels of size 9Jx19 at the front carrying 235/35 ZR 19 high-performance tires with tires of size 295/35 ZR 20 on 11Jx20 rims at the rear axle. They fill out the available space under the wheel arches perfectly. The NOVITEC sports springs are custom-tuned to harmonize with this tire/wheel combination and lower the ride height of the hybrid sports car by about 20 millimeters. In order to let the three-liter, twin-turbo six-cylinder engine exhale more freely, the technical specialists of the German tuner developed the NOVITEC RACE high-performance exhaust system. It was calibrated in extensive testing and offers a choice of stainless steel or the even lighter INCONEL, a material used in Formula 1 racing. Both versions feature thermal insulation. Its effect can be further amplified on the INCONEL variant with 999 fine gold plating. TheNOVITEC tailpipes with a diameter of 105 millimeters are available with or without carbon ring and can optionally be gold-plated to boot. In concert with the likewise thermally insulated 100-cell sports catalysts the NOVITEC RACE exhaust system bumps the combustion engine’s peak power by about 26 kW / 35 hp. NOVITEC will also transform the cockpit of the McLaren Artura to customer specifications. To this end the company uses the finest leathers and Alcantara in any desired color to create especially exclusive interior appointments.
